I’ve started working on a yo-yo quilt—an unfinished project passed on by a friend. Though I never imagined making one myself, there’s something meaningful about picking up where someone else left off. As I dive into the art of sewing consistent, beautiful yo-yos, this quilt is slowly becoming a long-term labor of love.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve collected, cleaned, and repaired sewing machines—giving them a second life and sharing the joy of sewing with others. From thrift store finds to gifted machines, each one has helped someone new learn to sew, without needing to invest upfront.
